I’m Dr. Saul Rosenthal,
a psychologist with over 25 years of experience helping people improve mood, focus, energy, and health. My approach integrates psychology and physiology. I bring together cognitive behavioral therapy, biofeedback, neurofeedback, and mind-body approaches grounded in research and clinical practice.
This work is often a good fit when medical care is appropriate but symptoms persist, and stress, pain, or nervous system responses are getting in the way of recovery.
What I Offer
I provide evidence-based, integrative care for individuals navigating stress, pain, anxiety, attention difficulties, and mind-body health challenges. Here’s how we might work together:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Identify and change unhelpful patterns in thinking, behavior, and emotion using a structured, research-supported approach.
Biofeedback
Learn to influence automatic body responses such as breathing, heart rate, and muscle tension, in order to reduce symptoms and build resilience.
Neurofeedback
Non-invasive brain training to support focus, mood, sleep, and self-regulation, commonly used for anxiety, ADHD, and chronic stress.
Chronic Pain & Health Psychology
Support for the emotional and behavioral aspects of chronic illness, fatigue, and pain, without minimizing or judging symptoms.
Professional Training & Consultation
Workshops, training, supervision, and consultation for professionals and organizations focused on health psychology, stress, and biofeedback
What is Mind-Body Therapy?
Your symptoms aren’t “all in your head.” They reflect ongoing interactions between brain, body, and nervous system. Learning to influence these systems reduces reactivity, improves functioning, and builds a sense of agency.
For example, a pain flare-up can trigger anxiety and poor sleep, both of which worsen pain.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
My style is collaborative, practical, and tailored to your situation. Everyone works within constraints—pain, stress, time, energy. Our job is to find where you have room to adapt, strengthen your ability to regulate, and move forward. You don’t have to push through it alone.
If you’re ready for care that is grounded, effective, and personalized, I’m here to help. Whether you’re dealing with chronic symptoms or feeling stuck despite prior treatment, we’ll work together to find what actually works for you.
